Purple Master is a rare 70/30 Indica-dominant cannabis strain made by crossing legendary hybrid strains Master Kush and Purple Kush. This heavy-handed powerhouse tests in with an average percentage of around 20-25% THC making it perfect for managing stress, depression and chronic pain. While the cross between Master Kush and Purple Kush is nothing new, the Purple Master phenotype tends to display more of the heavy indica effects of Master Kush and the bright berry aroma and dense appearance of Purple Kush.

Purple Master has a gorgeous appearance and is one of the top strains that come to mind when you think of really high-quality flower. While on the plant, flowers grow in a typical indica-dominant fashion on broad stalks that grow bushy and outwards instead of tall. Her water leaves are dark green to a rich blue and require much trimming and training to encourage flower growth versus foliar growth. The buds are dense, football-shaped nuggets that display beautiful shades of bright-to-medium green. The curly pistils are a sandy orange to a golden amber color, though they’re often overshadowed by the thick blanket of silvery THC-rich trichomes that give the flowers a very rich, sticky look.

While beautiful both on the plant and dried in jars, the aroma of Purple Master is pungent both before and after drying. Each frosty flower releases a spicy berry or artificial grape scent when broken apart. When burned, Purple Master takes on a more herbaceous and pungent aroma that mellows into a skunky, fruity scent. Best of all, Purple Master tastes a lot like she smells. On an inhale you’ll be hit with sharp flavors of grape and earth. The smoke is thick and on the peppery side, so it’s likely to make you cough.
